\nAre you travelling a lot or planning to have a trip in China? Are you a person who concerns about the life of children in poor area? Now here is a piece of suggestion from the website http:\/\/1kg.cn<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Bring about 1kg of stationeries or toys as gifts for the children in the area you travalling to.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

<\/a>Shown by statistics<\/a>, in some area of China, in children age from 6 to 12, there are about 10% of them have never been to schools. For children who got chances to go to school, there are about 5-6% of them left primary schools before graduate, and the reason for 75% of them is because of financial problem. Most of them are below grade 3. For children who are actually taking classes, a large portion of them are actually doing part-time study before Winter comes. For the rest of the time besides study at that time, they help their parents for the harvest. These children come back to full-time study after the harvest. 60% of them are girls. Actually, the per centage for girls to go to schools in some poor area is only about 20% to 30%<\/p>\n

<\/a>The project “One more kilogram” is not asking people for help to make these children to get rid of such situation. There are many other projects in China are doing that, such as The Project of Hope (\u5e0c\u671b\u5de5\u7a0b)<\/a>. Instead, \u201cOne More Kilogram\u201d are aiming at bringing happiness and knowledge to the children in poor area. Other than just “bring about 1kg of stationeries or toys as gifts for the children”, what people really want to do, is actually set up a channel of communication between these children and people who always want to share their lifes. Having done that, the children are in fact given a direction and a vision of where the “world” is and what does “love” look like.<\/p>\n
